Kazarian/Measures/Ruskin & Associates Inc. is one of the country’s leading talent agencies. With over 60 years of serving the entertainment industry, KMR has consistently been ranked by the Los Angeles Business Journal in the top 15 of all talent agencies. Facing an ever-changing entertainment landscape, KMR remains committed to the fulfillment of the ambitions and dreams of its clients with passion, integrity, and personalized attention.
KMR strives to provide equitable opportunities for everyone – artists, employees, and interns alike. We are committed to providing valuable learning experiences for students from all walks of life. That said, they are making every concerted effort to curate intern candidates from diverse backgrounds for our internship program. BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and international students are encouraged.
The KMR internship program provides students with the basic understanding of an agency’s function in a client’s career. Interns will be exposed to the full cycle of a client obtaining a job from audition to booking. They will see the daily tasks that go into submitting a client for a project, have access to scripts, research new projects on the horizon, contribute to brainstorming, and necessary organizational and administrative tasks. This opportunity is unpaid. School credit is REQUIRED.
The internship will consist of one-on-one meetings with other agents and assistants, a program-long group presentation project, intern diaries, and weekly current event reports. The intern will gain experience with hands-on assistance with various projects (subject to vary per department) and trainings for industry-standard programs.
