PKX Reel Exposure is hosting a three-day photo and film festival from May 5-7th in Poughkeepsie! There will be a photo gallery, art activities, a 1-hour short-film showcase, and a film/media industry panel for aspiring creators. They’ll also have a 24-hour film race that will be beneficial and inspiring to participants.
The Art Effect’s 24-Hour Film Race is a local competition that challenges filmmakers of all levels (ages 14-21) to create an entire short film in 24 hours. Films will be screened on day 3 of the festival and the audience will vote for the winner. The winners also receive a cash prize!
The festival will take place at the Trolly Barn Gallery, 489 Main Street, in Poughkeepsie.
