you may have a deadline coming up!
Reminder: Candidates accepted pending GRE scores must submit these scores by the midpoint of the first semester of graduate study.
- If this applies to you and you HAVE taken the GRE, you do not need to do anything. Your scores should arrive within 30 days of taking the test if you selected SUNY New Paltz as the recipient of your scores when you took the test. (If you did not select SUNY New Paltz as the recipient of your scores, please use the information on this website to ensure your official scores are submitted to the Office of Graduate and Extended Learning.)
- If this applies to you and you have NOT taken the GRE, please email literacy@newpaltz.edu with the date you are taking the GRE.
Future Deadline for Provisionally Accepted Candidates
Reminder: Candidates accepted pending New York State teaching certification must submit proof of certification by the end of the first full semester (Fall/Spring) of graduate study.
- If this applies to you and you HAVE been granted your NYS teaching certification, you must send proof to recreg@newpaltz.edu no later than May 21st. (Proof of certification can be a screenshot of your TEACH account or a hard copy/picture of your certification document from NYSED with your full name clearly visible.)
- If this applies to you and you have NOT been granted your NYS teaching certification yet, please be aware of this upcoming deadline!
