This article shows the different contraceptive devices used for safe sex. It also shares the advantages and disadvantages of the contraceptive. It was reviewed by many peers and posted by the American Academy of Paediatrics. I will use statistics to compare different contraceptives with their advantages and disadvantages. This article is easy to read and understand with all the required information and credible source.

Dominquez gives a detailed explanation of birth control pills and their effects on a woman’s body. It contains descriptions, uses, and risks of using birth control pills. She is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).

She showcases a detailed report on using birthcontrol pills with statistics and facts. She shows different pills and their advantages and disadvantages. Advantages of birthcontrol pills include decreasing period cramps and blood loss with helping regulate the mensurational cycle. Disadvantages would include leading to high blood pressure causing nausea and headaches.

The author shares the knowledge, awareness and perception of college students living in the United States and Vietnam. This article was peer-reviewed and Kamimura is a professor at the Univerity of Utah who teaches medicine and kinesiology. 

American college students were knowledgeable and aware of the use of contraceptives compared to Vietnamese students. In comparison,  there was a  20% difference between the use of condoms between the USA and Vietnam whereas pills had a 1% difference.

The writers show the knowledge and health behavior of birth control pills among college students in Bialystok. Broncyzk is a professor at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Maternity Care in Poland.

 The study showed a high percentage of students with poor knowledge of health behaviors and contraceptives. About 55% of people were made aware of contraceptives through friends. Students should be made aware of the different contraceptive options with knowledge about the safest option. There should be workshops, textbooks and awareness programs about different contraceptive and their effects provided by universities.
