  • Feel free to eat in the 1907 room, the Curriculum Materials Center on the 2nd floor (at the south end of the building), outside, or at any of the two-seater tables you see in the hallways. Eat with your teammate, someone you don’t know, or someone you just met.

1:15-2:30pm: PARTICIPANT-LED BREAKOUT GROUPS

  • in groups with individuals who fill a similar role across participant districts, consider both your short- and long-term goals, as well as the support you need to achieve them
    • here’s a Google doc to copy and use. When you’re finished, go ahead and link the document in the comments below.

2:30-2:45pm: REPORT OUT

2:45-3:00: RETURN TO DISTRICT TEAMS

  • what will you bring back to your district from today? what next steps do you need to take?
  • location: feel free to pair up with another district or two during this break out session. You may use any available space we have been in throughout the day: 1907 Room, OM 130, 131, 132, and 133; we will meet back in the 1907 Room for the Report Out.

    -culture of teaching needs to shift to build the capacity
    -supporting infrastructure (internal dilemma of knowing what’s important now but it may not be in the future)
