Paul Rubeo

Paul Rubeo began his career as a social studies at Arlington Middle School in 1982. Over the course of his career in public education he has been a classroom teacher, school principal, and professional development specialist. His is also involved in teacher preparation as an adjunct instructor in the Secondary Education Department at SUNY New Paltz. For the past decade he has been in the Wappingers School District where he works with educators and students to facilitate technology use for instruction. In 2004, he received the SUNY New Paltz Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, and he currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for The NY State Computers and Technologies in Education (NYSCATE). He is joined at the summit by his Wappingers colleague, and fellow Technology Integration Specialist, Dan Roberto. For several years, their work has provided leadership in professional development for district educators by fostering a progressive use of technology.
