If you’d like to jump into accessibility training right now, we already have two great options available:
- Foundational Certification Training: this three-module training has been in place since 2023, and the third module is all about digital accessibility. While the training is geared towards faculty teaching online or remote courses, the basic principles apply to digital accessibility for all mediums, including websites, email, online course content, and digital documents. All faculty and staff have access to the Foundational Certification Course in Brightspace.
- Deque Online Training Platform: SUNY subscribes to this excellent training service, which provides in-depth accessibility trainings created by accessibility experts. To start learning, submit a request to get a Deque account.
