Non-Medical Opportunities

Greeter
Greet patients and expedite the flow into the POD, verify appointments and ID, take temperatures, and ask basic screening questions. Should have excellent communication, decision-making, and assessment skills.

Patient Flow Coordinator
Coordinate POD traffic flow, entry and exit points, and direct recipients from station to station, promoting high throughput.  Should be administrative and/or clerical personnel with experience working with the public.

Patient Flow Representative
Under the direction of the Patient Flow Representative, facilitates POD traffic flow, entry and exit points, and direct recipients from station to station, promoting high throughput.

Medical Screener
Verifies patients’ self-completed forms/protocol-based questions to identify recipients requiring medical evaluation; clears or defers for vaccine administration.  Defers any medical questions to Screening Supervisor or Medical Consult. Observation
Observe vaccine recipients in a designated observation area for a specified length of time to observe potential adverse reactions to the vaccine or other injection medication.  May assist with scheduling second dose appointments, if applicable.

Logistics/Runners
Assists with ensuring all vaccine stations have the correct paraphernalia to administer and record vaccinations.  Also ensures Screeners have all the necessary forms to disseminate to the public.

Second Dose Appointment Scheduler
Assists patients during their Observation period with creating the appointment for their second dose of vaccine, if applicable.  Must be proficient with desktop/laptop use and possess excellent communication skills.
