Image result for historic huguenot street gardenWith the onset of spring, Historic Huguenot Street is looking for volunteers to help care for a few of the site’s gardens, which add to the historic element and beauty to our historic district and community. Students would not need previous gardening experience as our volunteer master gardeners, from the town’s gardening club, will always be on hand to share their knowledge and lend a helping hand. If there are students looking to get more time outdoors, volunteer more, or are interested in gardening, we would love to have them as volunteers.

The estimated time commitment would be one to two hours a week, although it is not mandatory of course. If you have any further questions about the volunteering for our with our master gardeners, you can email our Site Supervisor, Renzo Cinti, at Renzo@huguenotstreet.org , or call our offices at 845-255-1660 ext. 104.  And, if you are looking for other volunteer opportunities you can always contact Kara Gaffken (HHS’s Programming Director), who manages our general volunteer program, by emailing Kara@huguenotstreet.org.

Thanks for your consideration and have a wonderful day!
