Volunteer Campus Tour Guides Needed
Seeking volunteers to lead short, informal campus tours to local 6th graders (Bailey Middle School, Kingston), roughly 10:30-11, Wednesdays, Oct. 25, Nov. 1, 8, 15, and 29. It would be ideal if volunteers could meet kids at the bus, point out some of the buildings, and briefly describe their college experience while walking them to the planetarium in Coykendall. The planetarium show start time is 11.These 6th graders are funny and interested and it should be a lot of fun for students to meet them. The primary idea for the tour is to get them interested in college and meet a student who can share their enthusiasm with the group.
