What do you guys think, I think this is somewhat a dull exercise . . the kids don’t seem to really enjoy it but I am trying to emphasize the importance of observational drawing. ( Maybe we will try shoes next) I tried to incorporate anther subject, so we tied in language as jumping off point. We used India ink and bamboo tools ( I thought of Lindsay W after seeing her recent artwork! ) Ink is so unforgiving… but mistakes are allowed!
shoes are always a great subject— hands are difficult anyway , I can see with ink it could get pretty frustrating! and you might forgive mistakes, but they might not!
I think these look great. Is it drawn in pencil first? I can’t tell….
I usually only work with inks so I’m all about it!
