Synopsis
Boost Cafe is a health cafe, located in New Paltz NY. Our menu consists of healthy food options and different variations of beverages, such as protein shakes and energy drinks. Because Boost Cafe is located in a college town, we emphasize the importance of cost-effective prices to guarantee affordability. Boost Cafe’s specialty is our various options of energy drinks, including our, “Make Your Own Bar.”
The most difficult part of writing the business plan was the act of physically starting writing. Sometimes when you know what you want to say and what to include it’s hard to start it. I would say that this issue was the thing that gave me the most trouble because it ended up being time-consuming. Somedays, I would be staring at my computer for so long not knowing what to write. Another part of wiring that was difficult for me was brainstorming what kind of company I wanted and why it is important to the community of New Paltz. This issue was only a difficult thing early on because once I established my business it was no longer an issue. At first, I went back and forth on possible business and ultimately decided on a health cafe. I would say that coming up with a business name was one of the most challenging aspects of the creative process. Looking back, I can say that I am happy with what I chose and think it’s simple and fitting. The most rewarding part of writing this business plan was my business coming together and being able to film a commercial that perfectly reflected my vision. Being able to look back and read my business plan, I feel fulfilled with what I came up with. Seeing the possibilities of this potential company makes me feel complete in knowing that I had a good business idea and was able to execute it.
If I were to have the financial banking to support this plan and create a business, I definitely would. I think that my business would not only be a great addition to the town of New Paltz, but towns all over the United States. The most prominent reason that I would continue this business is because of how close it is to my virtues. I am an athlete and it’s important to make sure that I’m maintaining a healthy diet and keeping my energy up. I don’t know what the future will hold, but maybe someday I will build on this business plan and make my business a reality.
