Baird Park
The night before, I’d had a dream that took place at one specific place at Baird Park. I felt like I needed to go there, so we went and looked around. It was here that I told Alex that this was my favorite time of day because of the way the sun hit the leaves and made them seem like they were glowing. He’d never noticed it before but I noticed my whole life.
This is my favorite one yet Taylor! Again, the light and shadows are fantastic. It’s also interesting that Alex made that comment about the light….you have to wonder if you are rubbing off on him and allowing him to see places in a new ‘light’ (ha!)
I think this is a really interesting piece in that it has a really good balance between the digital paintings and also the landscape paintings you were doing before. The lighting and colors in it are extremely well done! I know you were interested in painting more- perhaps you can combine landscape paintings with digital figures inserted into the scene?

I think these works are really interesting, but I must say I miss your paintings! I do however appreciate your courage to work outside the box and try something completely new for you!
I really like these as well, looking forward to seeing how they develop!
