SUNY System Administration, University Faculty Senate, and Faculty Council of Community Colleges invite faculty and staff to submit abstracts for consideration to present at an academic conference to share ideas on the ways general education is practiced throughout the SUNY system. For this year’s conference, the focus will be on four areas related to the General Education Framework: (1) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice; (2) Civic Discourse and Engagement; (3) Artificial Intelligence Literacy; and (4) Sustainability. The conference will offer opportunities for discussions about intersections among these areas and other parts of the General Education Framework as well.
Abstracts (no more than 2,500 characters) for individual presentations or preformed panels will be accepted through November 16th via the SUNY Center for Professional Development conference website. For questions about the conference, please contact general.education@suny.edu.
