The SUNY Center for Professional Development (CPD) continues to offer sessions of their two-day Project Management Course for the Fall 2025 semester. Past participants consistently provide feedback saying that this workshop “brings a lot of value to my daily work life.” The course will take place online via Zoom on Thursday, November 6th and Friday, November 7th, from 9am-5pm.
PM Fundamentals uses the NYS Project Management Guidebook, v2 as a foundation and will take learners through the project management life cycle. This workshop seeks to provide a common framework and language for people to use when working on project teams. It is not designed for people already working in project management roles, but rather, designed for people new to project management with little or no formal training. The focus of the training is to help SUNY employees understand the concepts and improve their project management skills. The course is a fundamentals course and does not deep-dive into course topics.
Who should attend? People that are new to project management, serving in any campus role that leads teams or projects to completion.
Pricing:
- SUNY CPD Technical Member Campuses – $150.00
- SUNY Campuses – $180.00
- All Other Campuses/Organizations – $250.00
