As you begin to plan for the upcoming spring semester, the SUNY Center for Professional Development and the Universal Design for Learning at SUNY project encourage you to plan to take part in Universal Design for Learning professional development.


Access for All Webinar Series

The Access for All Webinar Series will begin again in the Spring. The theme this semester is Digital Technology for UDL. Our webinar topics include AI for UDL and accessibility, online discussion forums and formative assessment, and inclusive pedagogy in online courses.

Spring 2025 Schedule:

  • February 24th, 2025 (10am-11am) – Universal Design for Learning: Improving Course Accessibility in an Era of Emergent Artificial Intelligence (Register)
  • March 27th, 2025 (1pm-2pm) – Fostering Engagement and Inclusion by Transforming Online Discussions into Powerful Formative Assessments with UD (Register)
  • April 28th, 2025 (3pm-4pm) – Encouraging Inclusivity in Online Classrooms (Register)
  • May 9th, 2025 (1pm-2pm) – Generative AI as a Tool for Accessibility (Register)

Online UDL Offerings  

You are also encouraged to register for either of the Introduction to Universal Design for Learning Online Courses. To view more details about these offerings, please visit the Online UDL Offerings page. These courses are intended for SUNY Faculty and Instructional Designers, are conducted over Zoom, and are available as Beginner, Intermediate, and Asynchronous courses.
