A major component of the DFL, housed in FAB 223, is the CNC Router. Ours here at SUNY New Paltz is a ShopBot PRS Standard with a cut bed size of 48″ × 96″ and a Z height clearance of 6″. At this point the router is online and fully operational. We are still in the process of developing a structure for students and faculty to gain access to its services.
