Welcome to my e-portfolio where you will witness my process of my essays improve from begin to end. My name is Damiela Thomas, (she/her/hers) a freshman at SUNY New Paltz with a major in Childhood Education & a minor in business. I am from Kingston, Jamaica but I’ve lived in Brooklyn, New York for almost thirteen years now. I am the only girl and the eldest of four boys. I love learning new things and school itself. I love to eat ice, sleep, watch Netflix, and spend time with my family. I am very excited for this new chapter of my life because I am so close to my career. I am also excited that I am a residence student, being able to have in-person classes and watch my first year of college unfold with more to come.
