FTP, an abbriviation of Fuck The Population, is a clothing brand founded and run by Zac Clark. After mutual interest in eachothers arts, $uicideboy$ released a song of the same title, and partnered with Zac. This then became synonymous with the band, as it reflects the duo’s montra of nonconfomity in the face of a mortally judgy society.
G*59 is the record lable which $uicideboy$ founded and are signed to. The lable’s title refers to Highway 59, the cement artery that functions as a geographic and sociographic divide portions of black and white communities. The G refers to they grey of roads, as well as their perspective that existance isn’t black and white.
Depression, Suicide, and Drug Abuse are the three most emploeyed themes of their music. These are deeply, intensely “Sad Bois”, and are persistant struggles for the two of them. The constant presense of these daily issues is relfected in the constant presence in almost every lyrical line.
Religion and mythologic iconography are consistant content. Specific Christian allusions include the Four Horseman, plagues, dieties, deamons, heaven, and hell.
