Hello all.  I’m currently the Department Chair at the rank of Associate Professor in Digital Media and Journalism at the SUNY New Paltz.  I have served as the Film and Video Studies Co-Chair, as Curriculum Committee Co-chair, and have held various academic offices on campus, including Academic Senate and Advisory Council. I hold a Ph.D. from the European Graduate School in Switzerland as well as a Master’s Degree in Media Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Media Management from The New School in New York City. Additionally, I hold a B.A. in Communication and Media from SUNY New Paltz and an Associate’s in Communication and Media Arts from Dutchess Community College.  I’m also a Faculty Fellow for the Television Academy Foundation.

I freelance in digital filmmaking, and have won awards for my work, including three prizes for “A Horse Connection,” an original documentary that focuses on an equine assisted therapy program in the Hudson Valley.  IMDB Page

I co-wrote, produced, and directed feature indie film “Liner Notes,” which was an Official Selection at the Woodstock Film Festival, and the Hoboken International Film Festival, and was a finalist at the Chandler Film Competition.
