       I was born and raised in a town, East Greenbush, right outside of Albany, New York. I have a sister who is four years older than me who now lives in Florida working at Disney World. I have been a cheerleader since I was five years old and was on my high school’s cheer team for five years. I plan to continue my cheer career over the next four years at Suny New Paltz. I graduated from Columbia high school and chose to continue my education at Suny New Paltz because of the town around it and due to it being the perfect distance from home.

       At Suny New Paltz, I wish to graduate with a major in psychology along with a double minor in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies along with Religious Studies. I am looking forward to joining a few clubs here and getting involved with the community along with being on the cheer team. I want to help make Suny New Paltz and the surrounding communities be more eco-friendly and just generally a better place to live and study in.

       In the future, I want to take a year to travel before going into my career path. I would love to travel to places such as Dubai and Greece. I want to explore while I am still young and don’t have any other obligations. After this year off, I wish to become a therapist or social worker, specifically for young LGBTQ+ youth who are in need of support or assistance. I also want to work with groups such as the Trevor Project which helps young queer kids and gives them the support they may be needing. I hope to devote my research and life to helping all types of people and giving everyone the resources to be able to live in comfort.
