Hello! My name is Aidan Sinclair, I’m a BioChem major and I am thinking in minoring in economics. I am a freshman and it is my first year at SUNY New Paltz. Some people who inspire me to do my best are my senior year High-School AP chemistry teacher, the reason why he has inspired me is because he knows what is going on and is a very smart person but he still has an incredible sense of humor which brings him down to earth and makes him relatable, one of the may reasons I decided to go into the field of biochem is because of him, Another person who inspires me is my brother. The reason my brother inspires me is because he has always been above his age range in terms of maturity, he is one of the last people to procrastinate on a big project or homework, and he hopes to be working for the FBI in the future. He is my inspiration for me to do my best in school and handle my work with care. Some of my hobbies are gaming, roller-skating as my job back at home is at a roller-skating rink, I also love hiking and the outdoors and I have a huge interest in Science as a whole, but I tend to do better in biology for example than I do in physics. In fact, If given the chance I would love to write most of my papers on scientific topics such as Virus transmissions, Brain changes associated with adolescent drug use, How certain medications can interact with each-other and other scientific topics that may pop into my head! I also hope to be working in a lab when I’m older and if given the chance, research and discover life saving drugs for people all over the world and if given the chance would love to also do some work on creating vaccines. In my writing, you may notice that I use a wide range of language to try to help readers understand and even form pictures in their heads of the words that are on the paper, I tend to be better at that and weaker when it comes to grammar use but I hope you all may see improvements in that!
