The Elizabeth Madox Roberts Society was founded by Stoney to study and promote Kentucky author Elizabeth Madox Roberts and her works, including the Pulitzer Prize nominated The Time of Man (1926).

This summer the EMRS will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of its annual conference in central Kentucky, a milestone that Stoney was dearly looking forward to, and would love to host any interested symposium participants. The deadline for submissions is May 15.
