This summer the arts program for grades 3-6 split in weeks 3 and 4 into performance and visual arts. In week 4 the campers who were not in the Wizard of Oz performance worked with me on musical theater posters and pop up books about the story of the Wizard of Oz. The campers curated their own museum exhibit for parent’s night where they created a set of rules for an exhibition after long discussions about what they believe is important to consider when going to a museum and then were invited to bring their parents and friends to the art cabin to show their work to.
