Marble Run

The marble run and the glitch art project were very similar in that I had to do a lot of experimentation. It was about adjusting our projects so they became better. There was no perfection solution for either of them. The projects were different in that the marble run allowed for more of a sense of control over your work, while the glitch art project had very little.

Our groups process allowed for many improvements along the way which is a part of the design thinking process. We had to test that the marble would go through the track without stopping. We started with a concept and kept adding to it. It was cyclical and there was no end to the project. It allowed us to be creative through using new materials, but there was also a goal to the project. There were a series of goals which helped to broaden our thought process of what to make along the way.
