Summary-  This article summarizes that children’s books are not only for children to improve and get lost in their imagination but for adults as well to feel the nostalgia of being a child again. It presents that adults can tap back into their childlike ways and find solutions to adult situations from children’s books. The love, hope, and bravery that comes with reading a child’s book reminds the adult that these emotions and actions are very much present in the world and hold meaning for the world. The author reminds the audience that even the lowest optimism or hope is greatly counted in life. These little gestures or actions can get you over the hump that has been negatively affecting you in your adult life.

Assessment-The author of this article is highly reliable and accurate in her craft. Kathrine Rundell completed her undergraduate degree at St.Catherine’s College at Oxford and is now a member of the All Souls College at Oxford University. She has published multiple novels such as The Explorer, The Rooftoppers, and many more. The author goes into detail in this article on how Adults can use children’s values to help them through everyday life situations. She reminds us that time to time we should feel and act as a child that it could positively improve our life situation

Reflection- I personally find this article enlightening and informative. Once we pass our teenage stage in life we tend to forget about the innocence of a child and the thoughts that come with being a child. As a child we hang on to our imagination for dear life and use our imagination to push through life while being a child. We use the tools children books and tales give us for our development and to be genuine people. For example you may be a struggling college student trying to get by in life. While a million situations are thrown your way you are reminded of your adolescent life. While being reminded you use the little tools you learned through children books and tales to get through the day. You use exaggerated optimism, hope, and go out your way to do good for yourself and for others. This can greatly impact your life positivity but just taking a few seconds to feel like a kid again.
