The Shawangunk Review is the journal of the graduate English program at SUNY New Paltz. It has been in continuous publication since 1989, first as a small departmental publication, later in print issues, and now as a digital journal. The Review publishes the proceedings of the Graduate Symposium, the department’s annual conference, as well as poetry, fiction, essays, book reviews, and thesis abstracts drawn from members of the New Paltz English department’s wide community of students, faculty, alumni and friends.
