Summary-  An average young boy enjoys running, playing with toys, reading, and going to his soccer games, his best friend Alex was born pre-mature and will always be slower than his friend, he can’t keep up with his best friend because he has back problems. Even though Alexcan’t necessarily run as fast or be as big as his friend, they will both be best friends because they enjoy each other’s company.

 
Review- I enjoyed reading this book because it teachers children than not everyone is going to be as fast, as big, or as tall as you. Regardless of physical appearance people can share, be kind and have a great friendship with each other!

Content Area Connection

• Science- In this story children can learn about science an the human body. Alex is a pre-mature child who suffers from back problems and has to get surgery, students can be taught about pre-mature babies and the difficulties they may face in the future.
