- For this poster I wanted to focus on making something that didn’t focus too much on the story itself but instead the feelings associated with it. I used minimal imagery to vaguely give the viewer an idea of what the play would be able and instead used the colors to suggest the struggle the protagonist faces in the sewers.
- Process:
This is the first sketch that I did for this project. I switched from this type because I felt that the content and colors were too expected.
This was the start of my second sketch. This is where the original idea came from. At this point I was unsure how I wanted to present the information on the poster. I was also unsure of how I wanted to depict the city in this poster. The first sketch had the city buildings being very flat and carefully placed. When I added more of the type to this poster I just felt that it was boring. This is where I decided to make the walls of the sewer more detailed, the city more varied, and some slightly visible circles to add small bursts of light to the scene. - I am Michael Czerniuk.
