For my poster I wanted to use simple drawings and bright colors to make the poster feel childish, though these features can also be attractive to an older crowd. During my research I saw a book cover that showed objects from the book on the cover in simple drawings all fit together and I thought that it was visually appealing and could fit a wide age range of onlookers. Using that for some background inspiration I began to sketch for my poster. I ended up drawing the images in Illustrator and sticking with a primary color palette. A hard part of this was figuring out which colors felt right, as I gave myself a lot of different options in the sketching process.
