Paris Photo New York Photography Show (previously AIPAD) 
Close to a hundred of the world’s leading fine art photography galleries present contemporary, modern, and 19th century photographs, photo-based art, video, and new media in one space.
There are also book signings, artist talks and conversations over the 4 day April event. Fee.

Photoplus Expo
Annual photo tools and technologies conference in October. Free with pre-registration, fees for talks and portfolio reviews.

Photoville
The annual Brooklyn-based festival is a modular venue built from shipping containers, each containing a mini photography exhibit.  Free with fees for talks and workshops.

NY Art Book Fair
Printed Matter four day international gathering for fostering the distribution, understanding, and celebration of artists’ books and art related publishing.
Usually MoMA PS1 is taken over by independent publishers, independent presses and book artists from all over the world.  There are also talks and book signings. Free to attend, talks have a fee.

The Armory Show
Premier art fair and a leading cultural destination for discovering and collecting the world’s most important 20th- and 21st-century art. Held in NYC (Javits center in September 2021). Fee.

Spring Break Art show
Exhibition platform using underused, atypical and historic New York City exhibition spaces to activate and challenge the traditional cultural landscape of the art market, typically but not exclusively during Armory Arts Week. Fee.

Art on Paper
Manhattan’s Pier 36 hosts 100 galleries featuring top modern and contemporary paper-based art in March.
