Empty Bowls Fundraiser, Sunday September 23 2018Local at Heart is again hosting the Empty Bowls event to raise money to fight food insecurity in our community.
At Empty Bowls visitors can choose a hand painted or handmade bowl, starting at $20 and get to sample a soup from over 20 of our local restaurants.  We will be having a silent auction and a Fisherman’s raffle as well.  All of the items are donated by local businesses to help us in our fight against hunger.
We are in need of 10 volunteers to serve the soup at our Empty Bowls event!  We have large soup kettles set up on tables and you will ladle the soup into a bowl for customers. You will receive a Local at Heart t-shirt to wear and a free bowl of soup. This event is Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 4pm to 8 pm on Historic Huguenot Street in New Paltz.
Volunteers should arrive by 3:30 to be set up and ready to go!
