New Paltz Rescue SquadNew Paltz Rescue Squad is a volunteer based, not-for-profit organization that provides quality, professional pre-hospital emergency care, transportation for our community. We will continue to provide EMS leadership in the community. New Paltz Rescue Squad will continue to recruit and retain members by showing spirit, support and pride in our organization.
New Paltz Rescue Squad Volunteer Opportunities:
Emergency Vehicle Operator “Driver”

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license
Must be physically able to work as part of a two person crew

Emergency Medical Technician “EMT”

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Possess a valid New York State Emergency Medical Technician Certification.
Must be physically and legally capable of performing the tasks of a New York State EMT.

Emergency Medical Technician- Paramedic “EMT-P”

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Possess a valid New York State Paramedic certification
Must be physically and legally capable of performing the tasks of a New York State Paramedic.
Must have or obtain credentialing in the Hudson Valley Region.
