ingston YMCA Farm Project Spring Work Weekend

Friday, April 13 12-5pm and Saturday, April 14 10am-2pm

  • Help spread wood chips and compost
  • Clean up plant beds
  • Weed and seed

All ages welcome- we have tools!

The farm is located at the intersection of Susan and Summer Streets in Kingston. Park at the YMCA and walk past River Radiology.

You can also take the UCAT bus on Friday for $1.50 exact change each way!  All you have to do is call UCAT the day before (845-340-3333) to tell them your trip itinerary and they will happily drop you off and pick you up at the required locations!

On Friday: Take the R bus leaving from the Trailways station in New Paltz at 10:12am. Ask to be dropped off at the corner of S. Clinton and Greenkill Ave. Walk north on Greenkill Ave to Broadway. Take a right onto Broadway, walk past the YMCA and then right onto Pine Grove Ave. Susan Street will be ahead on your right. To get back: Walk back to S. Clinton and Greenkill Ave and wave down the 5:30 R bus to New Paltz.
