Made In Kingston

Local arts businesses will gather Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017 for an expo of all things made in Kingston, at a new space under development in Midtown, the city’s up-and-coming arts district.

The fifth annual Made In Kingston event will be co-sponsored by the City of Kingston, Kingston Midtown Arts District, Arts Mid Hudson, the Business Alliance of Kingston and TRANSART. The event continues the momentum that has been building since planning for a Midtown arts district began three years ago.

This year’s event will be held at The Metro, the former MetLife Hall of Records building, at 2 South Prospect Street (on the corner of Greenkill Avenue, opposite the Boys and Girls Club).

The 4 to 8:30 pm event is open to the public. In addition to more than four dozen local artists, the evening will feature local food, beverages and musical entertainment.

We are seeking 12 volunteers to circulate among the crowd to encourage participation and help with other production aspects of the event from 3-8pm. We could also use volunteers to assist with setup before the event!

*Transportation can be worked out for volunteers without access to a car!!**
