Related imageLast autumn, we were hoping to recruit some volunteers to assist with building some deer exclosures on  our land, but unfortunately due to hunting and time constraints we weren’t able to coordinate a good time to do so. We are aiming at building our deer exclosures this spring, likely starting in late March or early April, depending on what kind of weather we might see at that time. As the construction of our exclosures involves digging small holes in the ground ideally we would like to do this when the ground isn’t frozen and covered in snow. I am currently working on the best locations for our exclosures, but the materials have already been purchased. We are looking for volunteers that are able to hike in potentially steep and uneven terrain, dig holes, lift wooden posts and fencing, and other physical labor duties.
