pcwinefoodThe Putnam County Wine & Food Fest (August 12&13 2017) announces volunteer opportunities for its seventh annual Wine and Food Fest. You will be responsible for assisting with the administrative, presentation, promotional and/or technical aspects of the Festival.  All individuals will interact with attendees, corporate sponsors, artists; therefore, a professional and mature decorum is required.

Volunteer Requirements:

Volunteers are needed throughout the festival to assist with set up, breakdown of the booths, etc. directing traffic, directing people inside the festival, handing out glasses, delivering ice, and clean up. Volunteer duties will be assigned at the festival at the “Volunteer Registration Desk”.  Volunteers should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be ready to pitch in with any area as needed, and can lift to 40 pounds. Volunteers must be more than twenty-one (21) years old where alcoholic beverage is being sold.

The Festival gives you:

*       Volunteers will receive weekend Wine Garden pass if you work more than 10 hours.

*       Volunteers will receive meal ticket if you work more than 6 hours.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:

Putnam Wine & Food Fest is a two-day festival will feature New York’s and beyond, finest wineries, hard ciders, spirits, local and international retailers, arts and crafts and food vendors, as well as a farmer’s markets.  We will also feature local bands and national bands playing an all-day live musical potpourri.  A portion of our proceeds shall benefit local food panties and other local charities.
