My last digital drawing is of my boyfriend and I with our baby squirrel, Squints. You can’t really see him, he kind of looks like a turd 🙁 I didn’t want to make him any bigger because he was so small! Maybe I should crop this in more

This is such a cheerful piece Taylor, it also has a feeling of meloancholy as well. You really are talented with capturing moments and moods!
This is such a lovely moment! Perhaps to help with Squinty, you could try lightening him a little. When I make the picture bigger, I can tell there are some details on it, but because of how dark it is, it’s hard to see them. I agree that cropping in may also help with seeing him better.
yes, a bit of light on the squirrel would help. wondering your current feeling about the black lines?
These images really feel like they would make a lovely graphic novel/artist’s book, maybe with the images you’ve been working on as large and then maybe some telling details (like a close up of squinty)
Could you maybe try playing with the lighting around the materials as well as Squints himself? Also, I forgot to ask (you might have mentioned this in winter), but what happened to Squints?
I sort of agree with Andrea, a comic book in this style about all your adventures would be really interesting. It would let people into your life and your practice without getting too personal.
