I have started my first batch of small studies, this is only the first layer and I am planning on overlapping and layering them with realistic components that are meaningful to me.

This looks like a promising start! how big are they?
They are small, about 4×6 inches a piece. I bought more golden inks to layer with.
Jenn, you seem to gravitate to a natural palette, the colors you always seem to choose are so earthy and raw. They really radiate an organic tone to your pieces! I also really like that you are doing small studies, I cant wait to see them grouped together as a series!
