Course Wikipedia

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

As part of the Wiki Education project, we will be editing the Hip Hop Feminism Wikipedia page. Right now, the Feminist Activism in Hip Hop page and the Hip Hop Feminism pages are a mess–and we are going to fix them! Our goal will be to merge information from the activism page into the larger Hip-Hop feminism page as a section (this will become clear as we learn the platform).

You will become Wikipedians and do your edits as individuals and as a crew.

Crew Wikipedia Page: 25 points

For details on each assignment, visit our Wikipedia Course Page! The workload in these modules will be completed in and outside of class depending on how much time we have.  On March 7th, we will spend class in the DASHlab participating in the Art + Feminism Edit-a-thon, where you will learn how to edit!

Here is a link to the Student Training Modules, some of which are required (and will be noted as such in the course page timeline).

Students will be graded for individual work, but are expected to work with crew members for peer review and to edit a particular section of the page cohesively.
