For the Future Inc. is a subsidiary of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. We are a collaborative group of young men and women looking to help forge humanity’s future in outer space. Our innovative research has led to the moon landing and launching of the first satellite into space. Our financial backers such as the US government are key to our continuing research into exoplanets. Our goal is to lead the migration of humanity to near and distant worlds once ours is no longer habitable. Our upcoming mission, HYDRA, involves a one-way trip to Europa. It will take approximately three years to arrive. Any one is welcome to sign up for the one-way journey to pave the way for the rest of humanity. For the Future Inc. is concerned with innovation in the modern world and welcomes all determined scientists and potential astronauts to join its prestigious ranks. For the future Inc.is devoted to both educate and inspire the population.

This division was founded in 1969 shortly after the moon landing. Through public workshops and informational sessions, we distribute flyers such as the one below displaying why our mission is so important. It was once said,  “Human space exploration helps to address fundamental questions about our place in the Universe”(Wiles). How and why are we here? These are a few of the key questions we seek to answer. Through several shuttle programs such as Apollo and Discovery, we have learned more about the universe than the past decade.

Europa’s surface contains “ brisk tidal waves, while the water cools quickly… there is a warmer ocean below (Greenberg). As modern science depicts the four key elements of life are carbon, liquid water, time, and an energy source. Europa in the recent years has become a prime candidate exhibiting each of these key qualities. The three main priorities of phase one are to “investigate the composition and chemistry of Europa’s ocean; characterize the thickness, uniformity, and dynamics of its icy shell; and study the moon’s human-scale surface geology”(Mastos).

For the Future Inc. and its associates see Europa not only as a distant moon, but as a second chance for all of humanity. If the rovers confirm the existence of liquid water, it will allow for a manned mission in the years to follow. The expansion of humanity into outer space will begin and, we will be one step closer to our future colonization of Europa. The lack of numerous craters on the surface tells us that Europa must still have a molten core constantly cooling the areas around it. Based on this it is very likely that deep beneath the icy shell lies a deep unexplored ocean (Europa). This is our mission. A mission for all of humanity, this is the first step towards the future. Years of research and preparation still lie ahead before a mission is ready to launch. Until then we vow to research and record information as diligently as possible until the time arrives for humanity to reach for the stars.

With time, money, and persistence we can ensure that the generations to follow set foot on Europa. This is the next chapter for humanity. As pioneers we have always been curious, always wondered what lies up above. Well with your help, lets find out.
