Starting the Semester in a Climate of Unrest: Black Lives Matter in STEM, Wed. August 5, 11:00 a.m.

Acknowledging the impacts of COVID-19 and Black Lives Matter on our STEM students

COVID-19’s impact on our lives cannot be understated and will certainly affect our students’ learning.  We must begin the semester by acknowledging the experiences of our students and the impact on their learning environment.  STEM faculty will share strategies for engagement in the specific contexts of COVID-19 and the movement for Black lives as well as how to practice navigating these difficult topics.
