Drescher Leave for under-represented faculty. Panel Dec 12, 12:00-1:30 with lunch!

The New Paltz UUP chapter and the Office of the Provost are pleased to invite eligible pre-tenured Academic and Professional faculty to attend a panel on the Dr. Nuala McGann Drescher Affirmative Action/Diversity Leave. The panel will be hosted by Anne R. Roschelle and will include two-three past Drescher Leave recipients who will discuss the projects they did during their leave and how it helped them obtain tenure. In addition, Deb Gould will provide detailed information on the application process.
The campus deadline will be in mid-February.
We will provide feedback on your specific questions.
The panel will be held from Noon to 1:30 pm on Thursday, December 12th in Wooster, 3rd floor, conference room).

The Drescher Leave is a joint UUP/NYS initiative and is awarded annually to Academics and Professionals who have not yet received permanent or continuing appointment (tenure).
