Come learn small teaching techniques including activities and exercises designed to promote student engagement, increase participation, and improve retention.  Peter Kaufman (Sociology) will lead a workshop for faculty based on over two decades of experience in higher education.  Bring along your own ideas for ways to enliven the classroom and foster learning in your students. Or just listen.  We will share tips and trials, offer suggestions, and eat snacks.
