Multimodel Analysis

After constructing a multimodal analysis, I realized that arguments are much harder to put into words when there is one or more argument surrounding your thesis. I had to take one step at a time and play it argument by argument rather than scurry around attempting to leash a hundred thoughts all at once. The process is quite tedious but if you don’t fluke the preparation you need to conduct your argument, it will be done efficiently and effectively.

The trouble I faced when writing my analysis proved to be concentration. I had a hard time putting effort in while exhausted from other classes and assignments. To combat my struggle, I changed scenery a bunch of times and drank a lot of caffeine to keep myself active in working.

After completing revisions, I learned that I need to slow down when I proofread as I don’t catch onto my mistakes as quickly as most as my peers. I make a lot of silly grammar and spelling related mistakes and when looking back at them, I tend to gaze over them. Perhaps, I should take a few days to edit instead of just one.

I was most confident about the analysis section of the multimodal analysis, especially since I was very interested in my topic.

For the next project, I will take with me the practice of starting early and not procrastinating as that is what causes the most stress for me; the guilt of not writing straight away.

My film made me realize that perhaps we haven’t come as far as we think ion the gay rights movement. To this day, we deal with hate crimes, brutality, and propaganda relating to homosexuality. As far as we have come, we still have a lot to work on as per equality.

Images are very strong in times of crisis. We can see either the direct or manipulated impact of events and that is unequivated to any other art form. I will always prefer writing as I can relate to it more but photography and videography is very persuasive as well. They have grown on me.
