Hi, my name is Elena Yess and I am in my second out of three semesters of my Art Education degree. I previously received a BFA in Ceramics from SUNY New Paltz in the fall of 2018 and decided to come back to New Paltz for Art Education so I can teach students who are just as passionate about art as I am! Because I already have a BFA, all of my general education courses and studios are complete, so right now I am completing all of the education courses. In this class, I hope to better my education on digital art, as I have never really learned much about it. This is my last semester of classes and next semester I will be student teaching. When I finish my degree, I would ideally like to get a high school teaching job, but teaching kids of any age would be great. I am looking forward to what this semester brings!
