3 things I learned
- reading comprehension is more than just a reader extracting meaning from text.
- where one does the reading actually affects ones understanding of the reading
- When new learning is taking place new the brain change and adds more neurons and synapses
2 connections made
When I came to America at 5 years old I was able to learn English much faster compared to my 18 years older brother
I do notice that I retain the reading more when I get to discuss it and read them over with my peers in group work.
1 thing I’m wondering about?
Does Alzheimer’s disease kill off neurons and synapses as well?
