So you want to make a website. What happens next!? Here are some tips to get your started:
- Log in to hawksites.newpaltz.edu, and a new site will automatically be generated for you if it is the first time you are logging on..
- Consider what you would like to include in/on your site. Sometimes it helps to sketch it out (literally).
- Use the self-serve tutorials available here and through the Hawksites website, or set up a meeting with someone who knows their way around WordPress, like Kate Hurd or Rich McElrath in the TLC, to get your started.
- When you’re ready, be sure to have any necessary materials ready for upload on your website.
