For this in class exercise, we used copper tape, led lights, batteries, and paper to create a sculpture that lights up in some way. I choose to make an origami flower with an led light in the middle that would light up when i hooked the copper tape to the battery. I started by first making my origami flower. Once that was made I took an orange led light and stuck it through the center paper of the flower. After that was through I then took the positive and negative legs and bent then flat down so the flower would be able to sit flat on the table in the end. Next I took the copper tape and made square that overlapped with the positive leg of the led and the negative side of the battery on the other end. Once the battery would touch the tape the flower would light up.
