Communication & Social Media Intern Needed for UUP Faculty Union on Campus

UUP union logoThe New Paltz Chapter of United University Professions (UUP, the faculty and staff union), is looking for one or two students to serve as interns. UUP interns typically come from disciplines such as Communication, Journalism, English, Political Science, and Sociology, and can earn 3 credits when registered through an academic department.

UUP interns assist with maintaining social media feeds, updating and maintaining the Chapter website, and assisting with chapter meetings and rallies, all while learning first hand what a union is all about.

Athletics, Wellness & Rec Program Needs Production, Journalism & Social Media Interns –Apply Today!

The Department of Athletics, Wellness, and Recreation is seeking interns for the Spring ’22 semester to work in the areas of photography, videography, graphic design, journalism, and assistance with social media. The successful candidates will be connected to the professional staff virtually and in person if possible, to cover Wellness and Recreation events, staff spotlights, and capture facility happenings. The intern can expect to work in a professional setting with flexible hours and plenty of room for creativity and stylistic development. An additional emphasis will be placed on assisting with the coordination and design of the campus wide Stress Busters Program. Residence on campus is not required for consideration.

Intern wanted to assist published author with social media and website. 

I have a website and Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook author accounts. I need help organizing them and posting on a regular basis. I will work with the intern to find material to post that is relevant and that will publicize my books, especially a new one that is being published October 19, 2021.
